Help us build a library in Ghana!
In Ghana, many children have no books at home and have limited access to libraries. We are working to build a library that will promote reading and the love of learning.
Step 1: Get the land – DONE!
We acquired the land in the community of Santa Maria, in Accra, Ghana in Spring of 2009.
Step 2: Raise money for the structure – NOW IN PROCESS!
We are now raising the funds to build the library itself. How can you help?
- Make a donation
- Buy spices or chocolates from spicyinitiatives.org
- Travel to Ghana this summer, 2012 to help construct the library!
- Help us turn an empty plot of land into a space that helps talented Ghanaians develop their full potential!
