Accra, Ghana Library Project

Help us build a library in Ghana!

In Ghana, many children have no books at home. We are working to build a library that will promote reading and the love of learning.

Step 1: Get the land   – DONE!

We acquired the land in the community of Santa Maria, in Accra, Ghana in Spring of 2009.

Step 2: Raise money for the structure – NOW IN PROCESS!

We are now raising the funds to build the library itself.  How can you help?

• Make a donation
• Hosting a Drumming Up a Library workshop at your church or school
• Attend Library events: Jan 16 Drumming Up a Library workshop in Denver or Jan 31 BaoBao Fest Fundraiser (25% of BaoBao Fest fundraising from this events goes to the library)
